Recording standards

What gets approved and what gets rejected

The rules review applies to every recording. Record like this and the hour is approved.

Last verified: 12 September 2026. The figures that apply are always the ones shown in the app.

Camera position

  1. Mount the phone in the head-strap, on your forehead.
  2. Angle it about 45° down: your hands and what you are doing must be in frame; if you only see the wall, it is too high.
  3. Record in landscape, phone sideways in the strap.

Environment

  • Good, even light; natural light is best.
  • Clean lens.
  • Charged phone or a battery pack.
  • No loud music or TV; audio is not used, but noise gets in the way of review.

How to record

Do

  • Work at your normal pace.
  • Finish one full task, start to finish, in one recording.
  • Keep your hands in frame when you grab, hold or release objects.
  • Move your head smoothly.

Don't

  • Hold your hands up just to keep them in frame.
  • Fast, jerky head or hand movements.
  • Record while seated, idle or with long pauses.
  • Record in the dark or in public places.
  • Stage tasks or repeat the same action with no purpose.

What leads to rejection

  • Shaky, tilted or obstructed camera.
  • Hands out of frame more than 10% of the time.
  • Staged, repetitive or otherwise unreal work.
  • Idle screens, filming another screen or video.
  • Other people's faces, children, documents or personal data in focus.

Home and Work

In the Home catalog, record residential tasks. In the Work catalog, record tasks at your job, with permission from whoever is responsible for the premises. The way you record is the same; the tasks differ.

Review

Every recording is reviewed within 48 hours and gets feedback. Recordings outside the standards are not paid. Fraudulent recordings lead to a ban.
